GAT System Recommendations |
|
Listed below are current system recommendations for VocShop Graphic Activity Tracker Version 2. Actual system requirements (both workstation and network servers) can vary depending on your actual networking environment. For example, topology, drivers, application software, and networking protocols can change the following recommendations.
System recommendations are subject to change without notice.
Windows Workstations System Hardware
Pentium Class,1.2 GHz class computer or higher
- Memory: 512MB RAM or higher
- Hard disk requirements: Refer to the installed Operating System Software requirements or recommendations for single user stations.

Network Operating System Foxpro

- Gat2, released in January of 2004 is available in a SQL server version.
While it is theoretically possible for the SQL client to live with a thin-pipe to the sql server, on a thin-pipe, the program will run VERY SLOWLY even in sql server mode.
When printing from history, frequent transfers of over 100 megabytes will occur. Bandwidth of less than 10 MHz will be swamped.
We strongly encourage our customers to provide as much bandwidth as possible between the server and the workstation running GAT2 in either version (database or SQL), and prefer 100 MHz ethernet connections.
