A major Gat 2 update "Son of Updater" is now available.

If you got this file prior to 4/27/06 then you need to get the file again and follow the procedure again! Sorry for the inconvenience.

This update includes the following bug fixes / enhancements:

• Catches numeric overflows in 4data Palm imports (accidentally entering 5 million units)
• Fixes "out of order" problems on the edit-cards screen for instance, after running de-dupe.
• Fixes "add records" problems in task screens.
• Fixes bug in "List hourly ratings" report which was listing each task for an hourly rating, now lists only the Job Title.
• Fixes bug where occasionally PROGRAM would be blank on data entered directly into Gat.
• Fixes bug where rebuild mast occasionally put a line of data onto the wrong day.
• Fixes incorrect gross pay line on data entered directly into gat on the gross-pay summery report. (pay was right, report was wrong.)
• Fixes error which caused changing companies from within the program to be unreliable.  Operator would have to exit the program to change companies.  Change company now is reliable.
• Fixes bug which sometimes allowed a duplicate employee number to be created when adding an employee.
• Fixes problem with the Employee List report, some installs of GAT2 could not add "For" conditions.
• Allows 0000 or 2400 as a time out for workers who's shift crosses midnight.
• Modifies the start up splash screen so that the version is correctly reported in the on-screen display.
• Adds several new reports or report options:
  • Palm device handheld computers
  • Optical mark sense cards
  • Remote PC data entry

Installation:

• To install this new update, download the update zip file from the link above and unzip it into your GAT2 folder.
• This will create a new folder underneath the GAT2 directory called ddupdater. If it is not in the correct directory copy and paste it into the correct place!
• Now, simply use start/run ......./gat2/ddupdater/ddupdater.exe
